SNAPSHOTS OF THE Q AND Q-ADMIN SOFTWARE
Our software is intuitive and easy to use. The following screen shots will demonstrate the frontend ease of use.
Our software comprises of two executables. Q.exe and Q-Admin.exe. These have been renamed in the graphic below as ADS and EDIT.
On this ocassion, we will update one of the advertising images using the Q0ADMIN.exe program.
Double click on the EDIT icon.
This is your advertisment interface.
The various advertisement components are located here. With the Q software, this comprises the large text screens (of which there are 2), the image display screens (of which there are 10), the logo or theme images that accompany all advertisment screens, the currently selected video ad, and the NOW SERVING module number (NOW SERVING is no-cost option for those stores that run a customer ticketing system).
We will update ad screen 2 (the Easter Eggs). Click on the Edit button below the ad image and text.
The following page is displayed.
This page identifies the resource image library categories, an editable area for the advertising text, previous advertisment history, and some power words - just in case you get stuck.
In this case, we are going to select a new Easter Egg image, as this one has been running for a couple of days. Alternate Easter Egg images are located in the EVENT image category.
As soon as the category has been selected, the first 10 images in that particular image category library are displayed. We like image number 1. Clicking on it will update the digital signage advertisement.
At this point, we could also update the advertisement text. We might do this to freshen the message, or to advertise that the eggs are now on special. On this occassion, we will not be updating the text.
If we have finished, click on the "Confirm Changes" button. This will take us back to oue Q-ADMIN main screen.
As you can see, Q-ADMIN will reflect the current advertisement images and text.
If nothing else needs to be changes, click on the "I'm Done Editing" button to take you back to the ads.
Your newly updated digital signage is now inserted into the advertising display loop and will be displayed as below.
And that's as hard as it gets.
You have full control of your advertising and can make as many changes as you like as many times a day as you like, AT NO EXTRA COST.
Think of the flexibility of being able to price match your competition immediately, or to commence an advertising campagn without the
costs and lead times usually associated with printers and newspaper ads, etc.
USING TIME SCHEDULING
The Q Software allows for time scheduling of promotions to be setup in advance. For example, you may want to promote coffee and cake for the 10-11am morning tea time, then maybe a lunch time special between 12 and 1pm, and finally a food clearance special between 4 and 5pm.
The Q software allows for up to 3 "HAPPY HOURS" to be configured per day.
Launch the Q-ADMIN program by double clicking on the EDIT icon.
Look for the Time Scheduling Enabled tag on the advertising screen thumbnails.
If you hover the mouse pointer over the Time Scheduled image thumbnail, a quick view of the currently configured ads will cascade on the screen.
Click on the Edit button to edit the time scheduled screen.
In this case, all the Happy Hour screens are the same as the default screen. This effect is also possible by clicking on the "SET ALL TO DEFAULT" button on the left hand side of the screen. This effectively cancels any time scheduling.
If you click on the first time scheduled image, the "standard" resource image update screen is displayed. Also note that the page number is identified as PAGE 1A.
Select the image,
and text.
Then click on the "Confirm Changes" button to store the changes.
DONT FORGET TO SET THE TIME FOR THIS HAPPY HOUR. In this case, we have chosen for the Happy Hour to go from 0900 to 1000 in the morning.
Please Note 1: 24 hour time is used.
Please Note 2: Part Hours are not allowed.
Repeat the changes for the other Happy Hour screens.
When it is all completed, hover the mouse pointer over the time scheduling enabled image to review your current selections.
Operational Notes:
To cancel the time scheduled screens, click on the SET TO DEFAULT button.
If you however want to keep the time scheduled screens, but don't want to display them today, then set the time to a number greater than 24. When you want the screen active again, then set the time back to somewhere between 0 and 24.
If you want to run a 3 hour HAPPY HOUR (maybe over an extended lunch period), then set the numbers to run sequentially: i.e. 11, 12, 13 will give you a happy block that starts at 11:00 and finishes at 14:00.
