Knuckles has always had a library of video that you can slot between your normal advertising screens. Knuckles has now released additional videos for general use. KNUCKLES IMPLEMENTS PIP

Picture In Picture (PIP) is an innovative display mechanism to reinforce logo recognition, brand awareness, or advertised product. Now you can combine multiple product and/or logo images in the same digital advertising screen. PIP is available for the full complement of Knuckles resource images or you can source and supply your own. Use a QR code PIP on a prepared product to direct your customers to additional or nutritional information.

Knuckles have once again trumped the local digital signage industry with the ability for you to implement Happy Hour with your product offerings. Pre-configure your midday or end of day specials and they will automatically kick in for you at the set time. AUSTRALIAN FIRST - KNUCKLES IMPLEMENTS QR CODES

QR or Quick Reference Code is a 2 dimensional bar code that can embed a significant amount of information in a small 'standardised' area. QR Codes are extensively used in Japan/Asia and Europe and are gaining significant momentum in America - Australia is but a small step behind.

Any QR enabled device is able to recognise and interpret a QR code - the most popular QR enabled devices on the market today are smart phones such as Apples iPhone and the Blackberry range of devices. In reality, any web enabled phone is able to work as a QR Reader provided it has a camera and the appropriate scanning software.

For Apple's iPhone, NeoReader is a popular free download from the App Store. For most other smart phones, especially phones destined for the Asia/Pacific market, QR scanning software is usually a factory default load.

QR codes can embed information such as text, URL's, email addresses, SMS messages, links to social websites, etc. As such, an embedded QR code in an advertising message can be used to re-direct users to further product information or company website.

Knuckles Advertising Network is the first digital signage provider in Australia to include QR codes as part of its standard digital signage content management system offering. The Q software will enable subscription users to include one or more QR codes on their product advertising page that will automatically direct a customer to additional information such as nutritional information for prepared foods, product recipes, or general company website information either hosted on a third party server or optionally hosted on the Knuckles Advertising Network website.

Knuckles Advertising Network's implementation of QR codes is just one further reason that network customers can take advantage of the R&D work performed by Knuckles to implement new technology advances and stay one step ahead of their competitors.
